Aurora specializes in bespoke barge cruises in Holland and France

For 2026, they offer cruises in the spring on the waterways of the Netherlands with Dutch tulip cruises. This is followed by a 3-country, Netherlands to France 14-night cruise in May.

For the summer, Aurora cruises in the Île de France region on the Seine and Oise rivers between Compiègne and Paris. She also cruises on the Seine for a French Impressionism and Royal Palaces barge cruise. In August, there will be a 2-country, 12-night, France-Belgium cruise between Paris and Bruges with the following week in reverse.

Afterwards, the Île de France and the Seine cruise itinerary resumes. At the end of the season in October, Aurora repositions back to the Netherlands with the 3-country, 14-night France-Belgium-Netherlands itinerary.

The hotel barge Aurora is owner-operated. Her team of five English-speaking crew will ensure all your needs are met. Aurora’s mascot is Faye, a Golden Retriever and is well loved by guests.

The spacious luxury hotel barge Aurora accommodates up to 8 guests in 4 well-appointed suites, each with private ensuite bathroom. You may configure the guest cabins with twins or a double, as you prefer.

The warm and cosy salon is adjacent to the dining area and has many amenities:

• contemporary and stylish furniture
• original artwork
• fireplace
• library
• music corner
• well-stocked, open bar
• satellite TV
• and Wi-Fi internet

The full-width glass door slides aside, opening the saloon to the covered terrace forward and creates an incredible feeling of space. The well-stocked open bar is accessible from both the saloon and terrace.

The dining area has a round dining table seats all guests in one sitting. Dine on fine china and porcelain from Niderviller and Gien, Baccarat crystal glassware, and silverware from Chambly House.

Aurora has two outside lounging areas, each having comfortable tables and chairs:

• the partially covered terrace forward of the salon with a hot tub, and
• the upper sun deck.
